Rubber Spatula

Spatulas are usually used to scrape within the contours of a mixing bowl or to level off the top of a dry mixing cup. It is a tool with two flat edges on a flexible blade. A spatula is usually short and about 8 inches long. A spatula also refers to a turner which is used to flip over pancakes and meat patties.

Cleansing

Step 1
Fill the sink with soapy water. Add about 1 cup white vinegar to the water if the rubber is stained or heavily soiled.
Step 2
Drop the spatula into the water and let soak for a minute or so.
Step 3
Scrub the spatula with a cleaning rag and rinse the spatula with hot water.
Step 4
Dry the spatula with a clean rag to get rid of any excess moisture.

Rolling Pin

rolling pin is a cylindrical food preparation utensil used to shape and flatten dough. Two styles of rolling pin are found: rollers and rods. Roller types consists of a thick cylinder with small handles at each end; rod type rolling pins are usually thin tapered batons. Rolling pins of different styles and materials offer advantages over another, as they are used for different tasks in cooking and baking

Cleansing

  1. Wipe the crumbs and flour from your rolling pin with a dry washcloth or a paper towel.
  2. With a damp washcloth, wipe off any remaining flour and debris from your rolling pin.
  3. Wipe your rolling pin dry immediately, letting it air dry on a rack or peg as well if necessary.

Bread Knife

Bread knives are used for cutting bread and are one of many kitchen knives used by chefs. The serrated blades of bread knives are able to cut soft bread without crushing it.

Cleansing

Dip the knife into warm water, then remove it from the warm water and continue to soap the knife and the last wipe off the knife
